CERTAINTEED SELECT SHINGLE MASTER

To become a CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster, a contractor must be a CertainTeed Master Shingle Applicator, have a minimum of five years of experience, and have completed advanced training and passed an exam. Select ShingleMaster's must also maintain their certification by continuing education and must meet certain performance standards. This designation also means that the contractor is authorized to offer CertainTeed's best roofing system warranty, the SureStart PLUS Warranty.

CERTAINTEED MASTER CRAFTSMAN

The CertainTeed Master Craftsman designation is a certification for siding professionals. It recognizes the skills, knowledge, and expertise of siding contractors who have demonstrated exceptional workmanship and an unwavering commitment to their craft. To achieve this designation, a contractor must have completed the CertainTeed Siding Installation Training program and have installed a certain number of CertainTeed products to meet the requirement for certification. The Master Craftsman designation is a testament to a contractor's high level of professionalism and quality workmanship, and it sets them apart as a trusted and skilled siding professional.

CERTAINTEED WARRANTIES

CertainTeed offers a range of warranty options for their roofing products. The specific options available may vary depending on the product and the installer's certification level. Some of the warranty options offered by CertainTeed include but are not limited to the:

Limited Lifetime Warranty: This warranty covers the cost of material and labor for the repair or replacement of any manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product. It also covers the cost of tear-off and disposal of the defective product, as well as any necessary flashing repairs.
SureStart PLUS Warranty: This is an extended warranty that covers both manufacturing defects and workmanship errors for up to 5 years. It also covers the cost of tear-off and disposal of the defective product, as well as any necessary flashing repairs.
