GAF Master Elite® and Certified Green Roofer™
Harmony Home Improvement is a GAF Master Elite contractor. GAF is the nation’s leading manufacturer of high-quality roofing materials like asphalt shingles. Becoming GAF Master Elite® is something only 2% of all roofing contractors in North America are ever invited to do. Becoming a Master Elite® roofing contractor requires maintaining excellence in quality of work, extensive training, warranty capabilities, and customer satisfaction, and certification is only open to contractors with over 7 years of experience (no fly-by-night roofers allowed). Also important to us is the fact that GAF promotes sustainability in all areas of their business. As Certified Green Roofers, we are experts on energy efficiency, material optimization, and the recycling of products.
TAMKO® Pro Master Roofer
TAMKO has been a leading manufacturer of residential roofing shingles in the USA for over 75 years. Our status as TAMKO® Mastercraft Certified Contractors means we’re able to offer our customers access to three enhanced shingle warranties, as well as an optional roof system warranty. It’s part of our commitment to making sure your roof is covered — so it keeps covering you.
CertainTeed Master Craftsman
This credential indicates extensive trade knowledge. To qualify as a CertainTeed Master Craftsman, a company must be dedicated to excellence in vinyl siding installation and complete special educational courses. On every installation, there must also be at least one supervisor and one installer on the crew. It also requires an agreement to operate under the CertainTeed code of ethics. We’ve belonged since 2007!
CertainTeed Select ShingleMaster™
Select ShingleMaster™ (SSM) is another elevated category, reserved for the highest level of Certainteed roofing credentialing. We must maintain a robust knowledge base concerning shingle installation and quality through rigorous testing. Only SSMs can offer their customers the top-level warranties of SureSmart PLUS ™ coverage. They must keep a Quality Shingle Specialist™ on staff and ensure at least 50% of the installation crew and ALL job supervisors are MSA-qualified. Owners must pass the Business Fiscal Responsibility™ exam.
Mastic Vinyl Siding Preferred Contractor
To qualify as a Mastic Preferred Contractor, contractors must keep their BBB score over 75%, have 3 years of experience professionally installing vinyl siding and pass along their product knowledge to their customers. Preferred Contractors are regularly verified for licenses and insurance. PlyGem® Mastic is America’s #1 manufacturer of vinyl siding in America.
EPA Lead-Safe Certified
Safety is and always will be one of our top priorities. Becoming Lead-Safe Certified requires completing an EPA-accredited course and a formal application. This status is only awarded to firms that maintain EPA standards for projects involving lead-based paint. You can see our active listing on the EPA website here.
